$5 Million
Early Learning Center: Lobby, Classrooms, Play Area

AVAILABLE

The new Redwood City YMCA will include a modern Early Learning Center (ELC) as part of a comprehensive family center. This Center will help to fill a critical shortage of preschool spaces in Redwood City with three full time classrooms. The ELC will provide high quality learning opportunities for toddlers and preschoolers, and include integrated family programming that helps caregivers become their children’s first teacher. Through all Y programs targeting the 0-5 age group, the ELC will serve 1,000 children and families annually.

Aquatics Complex: Indoor & Outdoor Pools, Men’s, Women’s, & Universal Locker Rooms, Aquatics Office

The new Redwood City YMCA will feature a state-of-the-art aquatic center with pool access for Y members and community members year-round. Our Safety Around Water program for young children will be offered free of charge, serving 500 children annually in our new Redwood City facility. The indoor warm water pool will feature wellness programs for restorative and pre-natal health as well as swim lessons.

$5 Million
Health & Wellness Center: Fitness Center, Studios, Air Studio

Access to healthy living programs, resources, and socializing activities is essential for adults and families to maintain their well-being. With the high cost of living in the Bay Area, many struggle to afford these services. The new Redwood City YMCA will offer a comprehensive range of family, adult, and youth services to all community members. We will have the capacity to serve significantly more people with an enhanced variety of healthy living resources, which includes specialized fitness classes in indoor/outdoor spaces, an outdoor air studio, and state-of-the-art fitness center.
