BUILDING STRONG COMMUNITIES
YMCA Project Cornerstone partners with youth-focused non-profits, city and county agencies, and faith communities to empower adults to better support youth.
Our Community Partnerships program, offers training and consulting to thousands of adults, helping them build strength and resiliency in young people. We collaborate with organizations to co-deliver trainings and webinars such as this event with Common Sense.
We offer the following programs to help your organization support youth:
- Introduction to Assets: A brief presentation on the importance of positive youth development and how to the use the research-proven Developmental Assets model to help young people thrive.
- Building a Youth-Friendly Organization: A 90-minute workshop that guides organizations in applying positive youth development principals to their interactions with young people.
- Creating Youth-Friendly Programs and Policies: A three-hour workshop that helps organizations evaluate and enhance their progrms and policies to incorporate best practices in youth development.
