Camp Campbell YMCA has provided memorable outdoor experiences to thousands of children, families, and adults since 1936.

As the most unique branch of YMCA of Silicon Valley, YMCA Camp Campbell is located in the beautiful Redwoods in Boulder Creek. Their various camps help people develop the skills and relationships they need to be healthy, confident and connected to others. 

YMCA Camp Campbell celebrates diversity, inclusion, and global engagement. 

A safe place for youth to learn practical and social skills and values, kids can safely exert energy, discover who they are and learn what they can achieve at camp.

Jill’s career at the Y began as a teen counselor-in-training at Pleasant Valley Camp in Wolfeboro, NH. She worked at camp through college and beyond. In 2006, she continued her career in the finance department at YMCA of Greater Boston, where she received valuable experience in nonprofit accounting. In 2010, Jill relocated to the Bay Area to become executive director at YMCA Camp Campbell. She received a bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.

Nick had his first camp experience at YMCA Storer Camps in Michigan as a camper. From that first experience he knew he wanted to work at camps. Nick moved to California and worked at a number of camps while he obtained his BA in Outdoor Leadership and MS in Management and Leadership. Having worked in a variety of camp positions over the years, outdoor science has always been his passion. He looks forward to the opportunity to provide positive memories and experiences for everyone attending YMCA Camp Campbell.

Eric first became a Y employee in 1997 and has had many roles since. He believes camp allows people to be themselves and says, "It has the power to make a profound impact and create long lasting memories."

Kelsey started at the Y as a Cabin Leader Volunteer at Camp Campbell in 2012. She has since been a Camp Counselor, Naturalist, and now Family Camp Director at Camp Campbell. Her career beyond the Y includes Event Operations & Execution, Day Camp Directing, and a lengthy background in city recreation. Kelsey received a BS in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration from San Francisco State University.

Emily began her camp management career in 2015 at the Eastern Nebraska 4-H Camp. Since then, she has held Director positions at Non-Profit and For-Profit camps around the country, she started at the Y in 2023. She received a BA in Recreation Management from the University of Nebraska. Emily has a passion for camps and challenging staff and leaders to grow and fulfill their greatest potential.

Estela’s career journey began at Mission Springs Camp where she fell in love with nature (in particular redwood trees). She worked in the restaurant and hotel industry for a few years. Estela found YMCA Camp Campbell in 2014 where she started working in the facilities department. She then transitioned into administrative work now serving as the Admin Director, always with a passion for supporting the camp’s mission and fostering a welcoming environment for all.
