GIVE TO EL CAMINO YMCA

Each year, contributions from donors like you help our Y provide assistance and resources to our neighborhoods and community members. Each day brings new challenges to our communities, creating a greater need for YMCA of Silicon Valley programs.

NEW IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

EPA 10 Year Event
Together, YMCA of Silicon Valley board, staff, and community recognize and celebrate the life and legacy of Joan Platt. Joan passed away in November 2020 with family by her side in London, England. Joan was actively involved with YMCA of Silicon Valley for more than thirty years, serving as an advocate for youth, board member, Heritage Club member, and naming donor of the Lewis and Joan Platt East Palo Alto Family YMCA.

#ByTheNumbers is a reflection on the Y’s impact over the past year, and a standard to meet and exceed as we continue to strengthen our community. The Y was founded on the principal of serving the most significant community needs, and this year was no exception. Though unquestionably a challenging year, with the support and effort our neighbors, donors, and partners the Y emerged stronger. Kid, families and seniors were fed nutritious meals, essential workers received childcare support, youth studying at home stayed on track with distance learning support, and Y staff were able to emotionally and physically support the most vulnerable, lonely, members of our community. Take a deeper look with #ByTheNumbers.
